Shipping policy

IMPORTANT SHIPPING NOTES

During regular operations, accessory orders usually get processed and shipped out of our warehouses in North Carolina, Florida, California or Kentucky within 5 business days and may require up to 7 days of transit time depending on your location and type of order placed. Kayak orders may require additional processing and shipping times which can vary depending on destination and other factors.

During peak seasons (holidays, spring, summer, etc.) orders may get backed up and may take a few days longer to ship items out of our warehouse. Please bear with us during these times. If you are looking for your initial order confirmation email, you may want to check your spam folder and mark it as "not spam" for future communications. Once your order is shipped out of our warehouse you should receive an email notification with tracking information. 

Shipping Details: Kayak shipping will be handled by a common carrier or in some cases, may be shipped via courier. All accessories will ship with USPS or UPS or via courier as well. We have a flat rate shipping system for all products, we've calculated these flat rates from standard USPS & UPS rates. This system also allows us to offer reduced rates for kayak shipments. For accessory orders, you'll receive tracking emails direct from the USPS or UPS shipping apps. For boat and other freight orders, you'll receive a tracking email AFTER the carrier has picked up the shipment. If you order accessories with your boat order and the accessories are small enough to safely pack in the boat, we will do so and inform you of that decision in the tracking email. For all boat shipments, you'll receive a shipping guidelines document with your tracking email, this document will assist you with receiving the kayak, and detail the process for noting shipping damage. All boat customers are required to be present at time of delivery, and must perform a thorough inspection of the kayak prior to signing any paperwork. Please note, once a boat order has been processed for shipping and a truck has been reserved for pick-up, we cannot change the color of your boat. Please make sure your order is correct prior to purchasing.

IF THE CARRIER IS UNABLE TO REACH YOU DUE TO UNAVAILABLE VOICEMAIL, UNRETURNED CALLS, OR IF THE CARRIER CANNOT REACH YOU FOR ANY REASON TO SCHEDULE DELIVERY. AFTER 3 DAYS, WE ARE CHARGED FOR EACH DAY IT SITS IN THE TERMINAL AFTER THE 3 DAY GRACE PERIOD. IF THE CARRIER IS UNABLE TO REACH YOU AND THE BOAT MUST BE RETURNED TO OUR FACILITIES, YOU WILL BE REFUNDED LESS THE COST OF STORAGE AND RETURN DELIVERY FEES. 

MINOR SCUFFS AND GOUGES ARE QUITE COMMON WHEN SHIPPING SINGLE BOATS WITH A COMMON CARRIER. WE DO OUR BEST TO SAFELY PACKAGE THE KAYAKS FOR THEIR JOURNEY TO YOUR HOME, BUT THE KAYAKS CHANGE HANDS AT LEAST ONCE DURING THE JOURNEY TO YOUR LOCATION, AND SOME MINOR ABRASIONS ARE OFTEN PRESENT WHEN YOU RECEIVE YOUR KAYAK.
